Following our 2025 Penta International inspection, we are pleased to share that we have once again been rated Outstanding in all categories, the highest distinction awarded to British Schools Overseas.

We are proud to be accredited by world-leading organisations, including British Schools Overseas (BSO), Cambridge and the International Baccalaureate (IB), and to hold membership with the Federation of British International Schools in Asia (FOBISIA). These partnerships recognise the depth of our expertise and our commitment to exceptional education since 1997.
British Schools Overseas
Every three years, a team from Penta International visits our campuses to evaluate our overall effectiveness, the quality of education we provide, and how closely we align with standards in the United Kingdom. Their inspections have consistently rated us Outstanding in all categories, offering parents, staff, and school leaders strong reassurance that BIS HCMC continues to deliver exceptional teaching, learning, and student care.
Cambridge
We are a registered Cambridge International School, authorised to offer Cambridge IGCSE programmes and examinations. This registration confirms that we meet Cambridge International’s requirements for curriculum delivery, assessment administration, and teacher readiness. Cambridge IGCSEs provide students with a rigorous, internationally recognised qualification and a strong academic foundation that prepares them well for the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme.
International Baccalaureate (IB)
We are accredited by the International Baccalaureate as an IB World School, authorised to deliver the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme. As an IB World School, we meet the IB’s strict requirements for teaching quality, curriculum delivery, assessment practices, and student support. This accreditation ensures that our students experience a programme recognised by leading universities and valued for its depth, challenge, and international perspective.
FOBISIA
We are proud to be a longstanding member of the Federation of British International Schools in Asia (FOBISIA) for over 20 years, with our former Principal, Mr Anthony Rowlands, serving as Chair for from 2019 to 2024. Our membership provides countless opportunities for our students and staff, including international competitions, workshops, training and educational festivals.
