Noah, a graduate of BISB's Class of 2014, spoke about his achievement this month with local newspaper, the Jamaica Plain Gazette.
"Undoubtedly I was given strong academic preparation for the IB at BISB," he told the paper. "My shortcoming is, and always has been, not academics, but organization and time management...Certain teachers spent inordinate amounts of time teachinng me to plan my schoolwork, and without that effort on their parts I likely would not have completed all the work necessary to get a 45, or even a significantly lower score."
Noah, who is now studying mathematics at Harvard, said this effort by his teachers and the strong academic preparation he had at BISB has helped him tremendously while transitioning to college life.
"I am planning and organizing my time meticulously, to a degree I had never even considered before the IB," Noah told the Jamaica Plain Gazette. "It's been over a month of the most demanding work I have ever experienced and I have not missed a single deadline for a course."
Congratulations to Noah for all of his hard work! We wish him luck as he continues his studies at Harvard!
