Our school Open House events are a fantastic opportunity for your family to discover everything BISB has to offer – and to picture your child learning in our thriving community.

Taking place during the school semester, Open Houses are your chance to see our facilities, meet the team, and discover learning in action. We also offer private tours and Virtual Discovery Meetings, which can be arranged around your schedule.

A typical open house event

  • A Warm Welcome

    You’ll be welcomed by our friendly Admissions Team, who will introduce you to BISB and explain how the school Open House works. Our team will be on hand to answer your questions, too.

  • Showing You Around

    Our school Open Houses typically last around two to three hours, which include the chance to explore some of our classrooms and specialist facilities. This is a great way to see teaching and learning in action!

  • Our Curricula Explained

    Our teachers and Head of School will explain our academic programmes, which include the International Early Years Curriculum (IEYC), Cambridge IGCSEs, and the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma.

  • Hear From Our Community
    As well as presentations from our academic staff, you’ll hear from some of our current parents and students. They’ll give you the inside track on what it’s like to be part of the BISB family!

    School open days, like those we hold at BISB, are designed to give parents and children a better sense of the environment, values, and community. This helps families to decide whether a school is right for them.

  • When do your school Open House events take place?

    British International School of Boston Open House events place at various points in the academic year. To find the next available date, please speak to our Admissions Team.

    We also offer in-person private tours and/or online Virtual Discovery Meetings. These can be arranged for a time that suits you.

  • What if I can’t attend an Open House at the school on the dates available?
    If you can’t attend one of our school Open Houses, we’d love you to join us for a personalised tour. You can schedule this by getting in touch with our Admissions Team.
  • Do I need to register for a BISB Open House in advance?
    Yes, you’ll need to book your place in advance. The easiest way to do this is via our online RSVP form.
