MODEL UNITED NATIONS

Model United Nations is an international relations simulation for Middle and High School students.

At Model UN, delegates gain insight into the workings of the United Nations and the dynamics of international relations by assuming the roles of UN representatives and members of other international bodies and national cabinets.

It's an opportunity for students to debate issues that confront world leaders and to draft resolutions in response to global issues. Participation in Model UN builds students' teamwork, communication, and initiative under pressure.

High School Model UN

Our High School students (Years 10-13) participate in the annual Harvard Model United Nations conference (HMUN), held in Boston every January. The conference has conducted over 65 annual sessions and attracts over 3,300 students from around the world.

Middle School Model UN

Our Middle School students (Years 7-9) participate in Innovative Model UN (IMUN), hosted by the United Nations Association of Greater Boston at Northeastern University.

CREATE THE FUTURE

Whether they’re local to Boston or have moved from another country, our students excel in and beyond the classroom, because they know how to tap into what personally drives them. BISB students carve out their own pathways to their bright future — no matter what they choose to be or do in life.
