What drives curiosity? For several BISB students, it's science! These students got a chance to share their curiosity with Greater Boston this week as part of the Cambridge Science Festival's Curiosity Challenge.

The Cambridge Science Festival's annual Curiosity Challenge dares students between the ages of 5 and 14 years old to write an essay, draw or take a picture about their curiosity, and share how it's prompted them to explore the world.
For eight BISB students, their curiosity was enough to earn them recognition among the winners of the annual science competition. From what allows our brains to memorize facts to what makes tectonic plates cause earthquakes and volcanoes, our students explored a wide range of scientific topics, drawing pictures and writing short essays to share their questions with festival judges.
On Saturday, our students and other competition winners from across Boston and Cambridge were honored as winners of the Curiosity Challenge. Their work was displayed during the award ceremony, and they each received a certificate of recognition.
Congratulations to all of our student winners! We are so proud of all of the students who were honored for their participation in the Challenge:
