SCHOOL HOUSES

At British International School of Boston, your child will be a valued member of one of our four school houses. This is one of the most exciting features of British heritage at our school.

Building Community

Our school house system encourages students to push for the best in themselves and their classmates. As a member of one of our four school houses, your child will learn to embrace challenges and to work in collaboration with others to set and reach their goals.

Every student and teacher has a school house. Students work together in their houses to complete service projects, organize fundraisers, and compete in events such as Sports Day to earn points for their house. These activities encourage teamwork and collaboration and give students a sense of belonging in their school community.

In our classrooms, teachers can award house points to students for stellar academic performances or for embodying one of our school's ideals, such as respect or service.

At the end of each school year, we award the House Cup to the house with the most points, which is a great point of pride for our students.
