Director of Learning Support, EAL and School Counseling. Designated Safeguarding Lead.
With nearly 14 years of experience in education, I’ve had the privilege of teaching in both Primary and Secondary Schools across the North East of England, Chicago, and Boston. I hold a degree in Psychology, a PGCE in Education, a NASENCO qualification, and a Certificate in Psychometric Testing, Assessment, and Access Arrangements from the British Psychological Society. Growing up in the charming coastal town of Whitley Bay, I began my teaching journey there. My passion lies in fostering successful and positive outcomes for students, ensuring an inclusive and supportive environment for all. Since moving to the US, I’ve continued my love for travel, sport, and fitness, spending quality time with my family and enjoying walks with our dog. The highlight of my working week is always the time spent teaching and the progress of students. It’s a privilege to be part of their educational journey.
