I have been a Drama teacher for 18 years now and have extensive experience in delivering lessons to students in both Junior, Middle and High School. I am in the very fortunate position of being able to say that I love my job and am incredibly passionate regarding my subject. I love being able to observe firsthand the power of the arts in relation to not only building students creativity but also their confidence, teamwork and social skills. I grew up in Scotland and completed my BA in Community Arts at the University of Strathclyde when I was 21. Following this, I completed my PGDE in Drama Education. Prior to working at BISB I worked in Scotland as a Drama Teacher/Principal Teacher Pupil Support for 10 years. I then moved into international teaching and worked in Budapest, Hong Kong and Tashkent (Uzbekistan) as both a Drama Teacher and Head of Year/Key Phase. I am extremely excited to now be working in Boston, having worked here for one term I can certainly say I am enjoying it, with the highlight being meeting and teaching the fantastic students within our school. Outside of school, I love going to the theatre, hiking and socializing with my family and friends.
