Having grown up just outside Oxford, I studied English Language and Linguistics at the University of Sussex before a Master's in Linguistics at the University of Amsterdam. After graduating, I decided to start my career in teaching to help children enjoy their primary education as much as I did. Before moving to Boston, I trained and worked in London for eight years, gaining my PGCE from Goldsmiths University of London. Outside of school I enjoy cycling, visual and performing arts and reading.
