- What are Welcome Wednesdays?
Welcome Wednesdays are an opportunity for families to learn more about BISB and explore our programs from Toddlers through High School. Students, parents/guardians, and visitors are all welcome to attend.
Each visit includes a guided tour, where you can see our classrooms and community in action and gain a firsthand understanding of the BISB learning environment.
Tours begin at 9:00 AM and 9:30 AM and last approximately one hour. Welcome Wednesdays take place on the first and third Wednesday of each month through the end of May.
These events are designed to help families get a feel for our school and decide if BISB is the right fit for them.
- What are the benefits of attending a Welcome Wednesdays event?
There are many benefits to attending a British International School of BostonWelcome Wednesdaysevent. During your visit, you will:

- When do your Welcome Wednesdays events take place?
Welcome Wednesdays take place on the first and third Wednesday of each month through the end of May.
Tours begin at 9:00 AM and 9:30 AM and last approximately one hour.
If these times don’t work for you, we also offer private tours and Virtual Discovery Meetings, which can be scheduled at a time that suits your family. You can also reach out to our Admissions Team with any questions.
- What if I can’t attend a Welcome Wednesdays event on the dates available?
- If you’re unable to attend one of our Welcome Wednesdays events, we’d still love to connect with you. You can schedule a personalized tour or reach out to our Admissions Team, who will be happy to assist you.
- Do I need to register for a Welcome Wednesdays event?
- Yes, we kindly ask that you reserve your place in advance. The easiest way to do this is through our online RSVP form.
- What can we expect on the day of the event?
- Families are encouraged to arrive 15 minutes early to check in and get settled. Tours begin promptly at 9:30 AM and 10:00 AM, each lasting one hour and including visits to classrooms and school facilities. At the end of the tour, families will have the opportunity to sign up for a parent meeting at a later date.
