Student's experience at the Stanford Summer Session programme During the Summer I attended the Stanford Summer Session. It was an eight-week program where I lived on the Stanford campus in a dormitory and got to know other students from all around the world.

During the Summer I attended the Stanford Summer Session. It was an eight-week program where I lived on the Stanford campus in a dormitory and got to know other students from all around the world.

As Stanford is world renowned for their tech prowess and their location in the heart of Silicon Valley, I enrolled in undergraduate level courses in Computer Science and Electrical Engineering. The Stanford campus was expansive and beautiful with a plethora of facilities for both academic and recreational use. In addition to studying, I played a multitude of sports on campus. The summer session also allowed me to attend speaker events which featured talks from various professors and successful Stanford Alumni. Overall, my experience at Stanford was incredible, since I was able to participate in university life for the first time and learn a great deal, eventually achieving an A grade in both of the courses I took. While studying at Stanford, I also visited multiple tech companies in the local area including Google and Facebook.  I would highly encourage other students to attend the Stanford Summer Session.
