Year 11 IGCSE Artists are getting close to the end of their course. At home, they are completing Coursework, which is a thorough project of their choice.

Some of these were - Volleyball, Human form, Movement, Surreal Creatures, Architecture, Expression and Patterns found in nature. Students document process of their ideas, connections to relevant Artists, trials, experiments with range of media, development of their ideas and their final, personal response. All of this amazing work is organized beautifully on A2 sheets.

In class, we are working on our Exam projects, students had to choose their theme from the Starting points supplied by Cambridge Exam board, these projects are half the size of the C/W. Again, this is where students show their art-making process, from beginning to end. I’m excited to see what they choose to make for their final piece!

It’s going to be a busy few months to get everything finished off, but it is my pleasure to see these Artists grow.
