Ms. Curphey

Beccy graduated from Cardiff University with a first-class degree in Education and went on to complete her teaching degree in Reading. She began her career at a two-form entry school in the UK and later moved to Singapore to teach at an eight-form entry British International School, where she led Infant School Science and KS1 Mathematics. Since joining the British International School of Chicago, Lincoln Park, Beccy has taught in Phase 1, led the English curriculum, and now serves as a Primary Curriculum Director. She is passionate about enhancing pedagogy, fostering a love of reading and writing, and designing curricula that empower students as Thinkers, Creators, and Future Makers. Beccy recently completed her MA in International Education at King’s College London, supported by Nord Anglia Education.
