Ms. Gordon

Originally from a small village in the north-east of Scotland, Zoey grew up surrounded by beautiful mountains, beaches, and trails. She studied Primary Education at the University of Aberdeen, and during her four years there, she took part in two university exchange programs, studying in Norway and Finland for a year. She greatly enjoyed both experiences and the opportunity to study education from a global perspective while immersing herself in new cultures. These experiences inspired her to pursue a career in international teaching. After teaching in Scotland for two years, she accepted a position at an international school in the Seychelles. There, she taught a range of year groups, led the English curriculum, and directed Key Stage 2 productions. After three years on a small island, she was ready for a new adventure and is now incredibly excited to be in Chicago teaching at the British International School of Chicago, Lincoln Park. She looks forward to becoming part of the BISC-LP community and sharing her passion for learning with her students and their families.
