Before completing their Postgraduate Diploma in Primary Education, Bram Jungnitz graduated from the University of Leeds with a Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design and worked for renowned brands such as Burberry and Ted Baker. They transitioned into teaching to pursue their passion for working with children and making a positive impact on their lives. They have worked with children since their teenage years, coaching cricket and leading German workshops on the Wirral, their hometown. After completing their teaching qualification at Liverpool John Moores University, they spent three years teaching at The Churchill School in Mexico City, where they taught English, Mathematics, and Topic across both Year 1 and Year 2 classes. Ensuring that students feel heard and enjoy their school experience is central to their teaching philosophy. They find it highly rewarding to make a positive impact on students’ lives and serve as a positive role model. The ethos of BISC-LP closely aligns with their personal values. This is their third school year living in Chicago, and they greatly appreciate both the atmosphere of the school and the city itself. They are delighted to call this vibrant and magnificent city home. In addition to teaching, they are passionate about learning languages and experiencing different cultures. They speak Spanish fluently and have a high level of proficiency in German. They are also a keen sports enthusiast, playing golf regularly and maintaining a deep love for the Cincinnati Bengals.
