Ms. Lavin

Casey Lavin is in her seventh year at BISC-LP, where she has taught across multiple year groups in both Phase 1 and Phase 2 before moving into her current specialist role as STEAM Teacher: Technology Specialist. Originally from a coastal town near Cardiff, South Wales, Casey’s career in education has been shaped by her passion for teaching and her curiosity about different cultures. She holds a degree in Primary Initial Teacher Education with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) from the University of Worcester, which laid the foundation for an international career spanning twelve years. During this time, she has had the privilege of teaching students in Qatar, China, and the USA. Casey is committed to creating a learning environment that is inspiring, inclusive, and engaging, helping every student develop both academically and personally. Beyond the classroom, she enjoys cycling, hiking, videography, crocheting, attending concerts, and exploring new foods.
