Ms. Marshall

Lucy grew up in Manchester, Northwest England, and earned a teaching degree at Liverpool John Moores University. After teaching in Manchester for five years, she moved to Shanghai in 2016 to take on her first international role as Key Stage 2 leader at a Nord Anglia School. Lucy spent six years there, teaching across both Key Stage 1 and 2. Before moving to BISC-LP in 2024, Lucy worked for 2 years in an eco-literacy school in Thailand. As a teacher, Lucy values personalized learning, international perspectives, and creativity in the classroom. She strives to create an environment where children feel comfortable and confident as active, engaged learners, ensuring that every student feels valued and can achieve their full potential. Outside of teaching, she loves reading, travelling, and learning languages, currently studying Mandarin and working towards completing her HSK3. Lucy values personalized learning, international perspectives, and creativity in education.
