Ms. Niimi

Lauren Niimi was born and raised in Chicago’s northern suburbs and is proud to serve the community she calls home. She enjoys welcoming prospective families, sharing the school’s story, and fostering meaningful connections within the BISC-LP community. Before joining BISC-LP in 2020, Lauren built her career in marketing and public programming at several of Chicago’s leading cultural institutions. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and a Master of Arts in Education from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. As a BISC-LP parent alum, Lauren brings a unique perspective to her role. Her family experienced the full BISC journey, from the early years at BISC Lincoln Park through graduation from BISC South Loop Secondary. This experience allows her to connect authentically with families as they make important educational decisions and envision their child’s future success. Outside of school, Lauren enjoys baking, exploring Chicago’s vibrant food scene, and traveling with her family.
