Originally from Walsall, United Kingdom, Sophie completed her teaching education at the University of Worcester, where she began her journey in primary education. Starting with teaching Nursery in a school in Walsall, she later developed her experience by teaching Reception and Key Stage 2. After many years teachers, Sophie developed an interested with working with children with additional needs. She then pursed the SENCo (Special Education Needs Coordination) qualification at the University of Birmingham. Sophie then decided to explore International Teaching. As a teacher, Sophie firmly believes that ‘Every Child Matters’ and that they all learn in different ways and at a different pace. Sophie helps children gain knowledge, develop themselves through exciting lessons, child-initiated play and through new experiences that will equip them for later life. Sophie feels honored to be part of the BISCLP community.
