Ms. Ross

Kerry is originally from a village on the outskirts of Glasgow, where, prior to her career in teaching, she worked in Business and Management. That was until 2007, when her passion for travel inspired her to embark on a gap year exploring some amazing countries around the world, with New Zealand ranking among her favourites. Along the way, she created incredible memories and formed lifelong friendships. Upon returning to Scotland, she studied at the University of Strathclyde and qualified as a Primary Teacher in 2011. Working in an international setting had always been a dream of hers, and she went on to teach at Nord Anglia International School, Dubai, for seven years before joining BISC-LP in 2022. Living abroad has opened the door to many exciting adventures, including climbing Mount Kilimanjaro, exploring temples in Cambodia, and visiting the tribes of Ethiopia’s Omo Valley, to name just a few. She is delighted to be part of the BISC-LP family. Her key focus is building excellent relationships with all pupils. She takes pride in developing a positive, safe, and nurturing classroom environment where pupils can grow as confident individuals, responsible citizens, effective contributors, and successful learners. Placing the child at the centre of everything she does remains one of her highest priorities.
