Ms. Slauter

Courtney is originally from West Lafayette, Indiana but has lived in Chicago for close to 10 years. She began her teaching career as a paraprofessional in an elementary school classroom and from there quickly found her love of working with children. She grew up in a family of educators and happily followed suit with her own education and career. Courtney has been working in education for 19 years and is currently in her 5th academic year at BISC-LP! She is committed to creating a safe, fun, and inclusive learning environment for all her students. In her free time, Courtney loves to attend concerts, traveling with friends and family, and cheering on her Boilermakers! She loves everything about Chicago and hopes to spend many more years here exploring this amazing city!
