Ms. Stevens

Caitlin Stevens was born and raised in Chicago. She has been working in Early Childhood Education for over eight years. As an educator, her knowledge comes from textbooks but mostly from a practical, hands-on approach. During her years in a classroom, the children taught her more than ever. She has learned patience, how to better self-regulate, adaptability and, most importantly, how to have fun. Learning should be personalized to each student because everyone learns at their own pace. Everyone is full of different ideas and creativity, so being able to foster that into learning is a wonderful experience. Personalizing learning to each student in a safe and nurturing environment can allow them to meet their full potential. In her free time, you can find her with a good book, curled up with her two cats, or teaching herself new skills like crocheting and cooking.
