Ms. Warrillow

A highly experienced practitioner, Mary began teaching in 2004 following her BA in English Literature and PGCE in Middle Years Primary Education. She has taught in a wide variety of roles and establishments during her career, starting with Year 5 and Year 6 at a large primary school, where she also became English Lead. Over the next decade, she taught English across Year 5 – Year 8 in central London, before embarking on the international route with her family. Following two years as Phase Lead and Year 3 teacher in the Bahamas, Mary joined BISC-LP in August 2024, where she currently teaches Year 3. Mary is passionate about fostering a nurturing, inspiring environment in which children can thrive, becoming open-minded individuals, curious learners, and globally-minded citizens. A huge advocate of the power of reading, Mary is also committed to creating a reader-friendly classroom and curriculum which sparks a love of books from an early age.
