Extended Essay Boot Camp Our Year 13 students get back to work on their extended essays.

Welcome back to the Class of 2015! Our Year 13 students who started the autumn term with an Extended Essay boot camp day at DePaul University's Roosevelt campus, drafting and redrafting their 4,000 word extended essays. The day has been incorporated as an annual visit on our school calendar for senior students as they experience writing a research paper and get to experience the atmosphere of a university library - just a taste of things to come! Our class of 2016 will be starting out on their research papers soon and will be visiting the library to sharpen up on those research skills in early October.

We are delighted to announce the phenomenal results of our 2021 International Baccalaureate graduating class at the British International School of Chicago, South Loop. A total of 30 students sat the full International Baccalaureate Diploma at British International School of Chicago, South Loop. The average score from our Class of 2021 was 37, the school’s best ever and 4 points higher than this year’s IBDP global average of 33, widening the gap between British International School of Chicago, South Loop and other IB schools around the world.
