All in the Numbers: Students Achieve 4 Top Awards at Math Contest Our students earned four outstanding awards at the annual Middle School Mathematics Contest hosted by Latin School of Chicago.

High five! Our students earned four outstanding awards at the annual Middle School Mathematics Contest hosted by Latin School of Chicago.

The contest was comprised of two parts—an individual round and a team round—that tasked participants with solving a challenging set of questions. Judges awarded prizes at each grade level to individuals who finished in one of the first three positions and to teams that finished in one of the first five positions.

Team Awards

• First Place:  Year 9 Team – Emre, Pablo, Sigourney and Kira
• Second Place:  Year 6 Team – Matthew, Francesca, Parhum and Dominic

Individual Awards

• First Place: Dominic, Year 6
• Second Place: Emre, Year 9

Our teams in Year 7 (Devon, Lucas, Nicolas and Julian) and Year 8 (Josh, Sabrina, Chloe and Bella) put in fantastic effort! Well done on representing BISC.
