Student Lands in Top 100 for Global Math Contest Congratulations to Emre (Year 9) for scoring among the top 100 competitors in the UK Mathematics Trust Intermediate Math Contest.

Congratulations to Emre (Year 9) for outstanding performance in the UK Mathematics Trust Intermediate Math Contest!

Each year, thousands of students from around the world sit the UKMT Intermediate Math Contest. The top scorers receive certificates and move on to more advanced rounds.

After scoring among the top 500 Year 9 students worldwide, Emre qualified to take part in a subsequent round of competition called the Cayley Olympiad. Emre solved six complex mathematics questions in just two hours, and his results were fantastic! He scored among the top 25% of competitors and also earned a medal presented to the top 100.

We’re so proud of Emre! Thanks to Mrs. Connor, Head of Math, for her support.
