Fourth Grader Takes Center Stage at Video Game Conference
Fourth Grader Takes Center Stage at Video Game Conference Max Maiers was one of three students chosen to present an original map at MINECON, a sold-out conference dedicated to all things Minecraft.

It’s not often that a fourth grader takes center stage at a massive convention. But Max Maiers did just that in September at MINECON, a sold-out conference dedicated to all things Minecraft. Max was one of just three kids from across the country on the “Student Voice” panel, which focused on student programming. He showcased his original adventure map, “The 20 Year War: Arthur’s Vengeance”, which he worked on for eight weeks with Doug Watkins, a Minecraft Map Creator and Digital Game-Based Learning Specialist.

Check out photos of Max’s presentation above, as well as a video of Max presenting his map.

Well done, Max!
