2017 International Baccalaureate Diploma Results The Village School students achieved strong International Baccalaureate Diploma results once again.

The Village School students achieved strong International Baccalaureate Diploma results once again. Village had 30 students who scored ‘7s’, which is the highest grade you can score in an IB subject. On average, the 2017 class scored over half a grade higher than the world average in Music, Spanish, Computer Science, Mathematics and English Literature.  This years students also had an improved pass rate at 88% compared to last year’s 82%. 

The Village School also admitted 16% more students into the IBDP with 80 students compared to the 62 students from last year. This is a record number of Village IB students. “I’m proud of the diploma candidates and I’m glad they were able to achieve great results in a rigorous program. These students worked hard and their dedication was rewarded with countless university acceptances,” said Director of the High School, Carl Newman.
