She has developed work largely looking at her family, heritage, and culture, including a portrait of her grandmother using a sgraffito technique. The method involves laying down oil pastels and painting the surface with acrylic paint, then scratching into the surface to reveal the color underneath. Well done to Amani and the rest of the Year 12 art class for showing such dedication during these trying times!
