Originally from Bristol, UK, Becca has a master’s degree in education from University College London, Institute of Education. She has been in teaching and educational leadership for 20-plus years. Her career achievements include Assistant Head Teacher of Student Experience, Head of Middle School, and IB Coordinator. In the classroom she thrives on planning high quality learning experiences for all students, the challenge of developing new curriculum courses, and the dynamic nature of teaching. She loves helping students make connections between their classroom learning and the wider community, whether that’s here in Chicago or a location further afield like Iceland!
