Ms. Jordan
Katie is Head of Science and Enrichment Curriculum Activities Lead at the British International School of Chicago, where she has taught since 2013. She holds a BSc in Marine Biology and a PGCE in Secondary Science and has been teaching since 2007. Before moving to Chicago, she taught in the UK. She brings a wealth of international and curriculum leadership experience to her role. Katie is passionate about making Science education accessible, engaging, and relevant, believing that science has an impact on all of our lives. She has led the school’s Science Olympiad team since 2014, fostering inquiry, teamwork, and academic excellence. Outside of school, she enjoys travelling with her family, reading, art, and discovering great food.
