From an early age Kiran recognized the significance of stories. It was this love of narrative that encouraged her to complete a bachelor’s degree in English in her hometown of Leicester. After this, she decided to pursue a career in education and completed her PGCE at Aberystwyth University. I then returned to teach A-Levels at her alma mater, Wyggeston & Queen Elizabeth I College in Leicester. Before settling at BISCSL, she had the opportunity to teach at Chicago Public Schools and also deliver the IB curriculum at an independent Montessori school.
