Mr. Doig
Laurence was born and raised in Southeast England and attained a first-class honors degree at Roehampton University and master’s degree at Goldsmiths, East London. In 2014, he completed his PGCE at Canterbury Christ Church University and taught in a fantastic secondary school in SE England for four years. In 2018, he headed to Nord Dubai, spending three years at that outstanding school. Since 2021, he has been lucky enough to call Chicago home and has been head of department since 2024. Helping bring English and Film Studies to life is an absolute privilege and one that he relishes each day.
