After graduating from Baylor University with a degree in English Literature, Lexi set out on a teaching adventure that eventually led her from Austin, Texas to Chicago, Illinois. She is a lover of stories, whether they come in the form of novels, poetry, or even video games. Her goal as an educator is to make every student feel safe, supported, and encouraged to strive for progress. When she is not fostering a love for English in the classroom, she is either curled up with her cat, Arya, or making a delicious mess in her kitchen.
