BSKL Primary students have enjoyed an extraordinary summer of success, earning medals, awards and international qualifications across some of the world's most prestigious academic competitions. Competing against thousands of students from across Malaysia and around the globe, the students demonstrated exceptional talent, determination and intellectual curiosity, further strengthening BSKL's reputation for academic excellence.

 

The summer started with remarkable success at the World Scholar's Cup global final, where 13 BSKL students qualified for the prestigious Tournament of Champions at Yale University. Our scholars achieved 3rd and 4th place in the team rankings, while two BSKL students secured 4th and 10th place in the individual standings, placing them among the top competitors in the world.

 

Our students also excelled in the SiL English National Competition, winning 10 medals, including an exceptional seven gold medals. In a remarkable achievement, one BSKL student achieved the highest score in Malaysia, and every participating student qualified for the Global Final in the United Kingdom.

 

International success continued at the Asia Spell Bee in Shanghai, where a BSKL student earned a gold medal, competing against some of the strongest young spellers from across the region.

 

At the Singapore International Maths Olympiad Challenge (SIMOC) Global Final, BSKL students once again demonstrated their mathematical excellence, returning home with one gold medal and one bronze medal.

 

A team of BSKL learners also travelled to London for the Teen Eagle Global Final, achieving an outstanding haul of 11 medals, including eight gold medals. Their achievements reflected exceptional performance in mathematics, critical thinking and communication challenges on the global stage.

 

The summer culminated with the publication of the results for the 115,000 students who participated in the Kangaroo Maths Malaysia competition. BSKL Primary students secured an impressive 10 medals, including four gold medals, showcasing outstanding mathematical reasoning and problem-solving skills.

 

These achievements are a testament not only to the hard work and dedication of the students, but also to the support of their families and teachers. BSKL is incredibly proud of everything they have accomplished and looks forward to celebrating even more successes in the year ahead.
