BSKL A-levels students achieve outstanding results – A proven achievement

BSKL’s class of 2026 will have reasons to celebrate, as their A-level results – released by the Cambridge examination board on 11 August and then by the Pearson/Edexcel and AQA examination boards on 13 August – have been excellent.

About 20% of the students achieved straight A-A* results, with 48% achieving A*/A, surpassing England’s average of 28.3% achieving A*/A results. Meanwhile, 66% achieved A*-B, and 86% of the cohort had A*-C results. 

“We are proud of our class of 2026 for these amazing results. It speaks volumes of the quality of education that BSKL Sixth Form has to offer. Our dedicated teachers play multiple roles, supporting each student through their studies and university placements,” said Head of Secondary Mr Jeffrey Ison.

Meanwhile, Head of Sixth Form, Ms Karolina Malinowska, described the A-level results as “excellent”, and she is very proud of BSKL’s class of 2026 for their stellar results.

“I am extremely proud of the achievements of the Class of 2026. We have students heading off to study in every corner of the world – from the US and Canada to the UK, the Netherlands, Hong Kong, South Korea and Australia. I am particularly proud of the individual journeys each student has taken and the hard work, growth and determination that have shaped their time at BSKL. I wish them the very best and look forward to hearing about their future successes,” she said.

Ms Malinowska further added that 79% of the student cohort in 2026 got their first-choice university, while 100% of them received university placements.

Some of the BSKL alumni also shared their university placements and the university courses they will be studying.

Former Head Student Kiana S. said she will be studying politics and international relationswith applied AI at the University of Exeter.

She thanked University Counsellor Ms Emily Galloway for guiding her through the university applications.

“I was able to be comfortable with my university choice because of the counselling that the university counsellor has given me,” she said.

Meanwhile, BSKL former student Ayaan will be studying pre-medicine at the University of Buckingham, London.

He said he was thankful for the studious environment that BSKL provides during his two-year stint here as a Sixth Form student.
