We offer places all year round to children aged 3-19. After making an initial enquiry, you can either come and see us in person or take a virtual discovery tour.
While we have an open admissions policy, we do test all our prospective students. From Year 4 upwards, all our children complete an entrance assessment. We do this to make sure our school will meet your child’s needs. Tests are online and can be done either at Compass or, if it’s more convenient, at your child’s current school. Your child will also sit an in-class assessment at the end of the online test.
For children in Years 1 to 3, the decision to offer a place is based on school reports and a short teacher assessment.
Your child will start in a class based on their date of birth, in line with Ministry of Education rules. To enter a year group, your child must have completed the previous academic year in full.
