EY2 The Tiger Who Came to Tea

It never stops in EY2 and this week we have been extremely busy. After reading the wonderful story of ‘The Tiger Who Came to Tea’ we got very excited and decided to plan our own tea party. The children wrote shopping lists with lots of details about what they would like in their tea party, jam sandwiches were very popular.

The day of the tea party came and we sat down in small groups to prepare our little treat. We had to spread our own jam and fold and cut the sandwich ourselves. Some of us talked about halves and quarters and how we can share with each other. We were even able to tell our teachers how we made our sandwich and why we choose the different things we wanted.

It was a very tasty treat and we would love to do it again.
