On Tuesday 26th March, Year 4 went on a trip to Baladna Farm as part of their ongoing IPC unit Land, Sea and Sky.

“The trip was amazing because we did lots of activities.” Malak 4A

“The animals were very cute. I liked them all, especially when we got to feed them, but my favourite was the bunny.” Fabricio 4A

“It was great to see so many different animals like wallabies and camels. I also really enjoyed the planting activity in the greenhouse.” Alexis 4B

Children saw a variety of animals including birds, ducks, rabbits, cows (and how they are milked), peacocks, chickens, kangaroos, llamas and horses. We enjoyed trying to classify these.

Not only are animals living things – plants are too! Children had the chance to pot plants and took a bike tour around the gardens witnessing a large variety.

In addition to the plants and animals, children had the chance to ride scooters, go on a trampoline, do wall climbing and play in the adventure park.

It was a brilliant educational visit and the children conducted themselves very well. Thank you also to our parent volunteers for accompanying us on the trip - Cindy, Louisa and Emma.
