Alex Taishi Whitten Wins Top Prize at COBIS Music Festival 2023

Alex Taishi Whitten (Year 7) from Compass International School Doha, Themaid has been awarded first prize in the junior category (11-14 year old) Council of British International Schools (COBIS) Music Festival 2023 with his solo piano composition ‘Lady Bug Garden’.  

With over 400 schools represented internationally by COBIS, 36 schools participated (27 schools online). In total, there were 71 music composition submissions.
