OUR COLLABORATION WITH JUILLIARD
Our partnership with The Juilliard School enriches Drama at Dover Court, bringing world-class performing arts expertise into the classroom. Students engage in creative learning experiences inspired by Juilliard resources and benefit from regular visits from Juilliard specialists, who work directly with students and teachers. These sessions encourage students to think creatively, work collaboratively and build confidence through performance and self-expression.
By combining classroom learning with practical experiences, our collaboration with Juilliard helps students develop their creativity, communication skills and appreciation for the performing arts. The Juilliard partnership is experienced through our Drama programme, and creative movement and dance opportunities are offered through PE lessons and co-curricular activities.

OUR DRAMA CURRICULUM
Our programme inspires students to build confidence, creativity and strong communication skills in a supportive environment. Through practical lessons, rehearsals and performances, they explore a variety of theatrical styles while developing performance, storytelling and stagecraft skills. A vibrant programme of productions and showcases gives students opportunities to perform on stage, contribute to costumes and set design, or support productions behind the scenes. These experiences encourage teamwork, self-expression and resilience.
Workshops with visiting Juilliard specialists help students develop their artistic voice and take creative risks. Students can also pursue internationally recognised LAMDA (London Academy of Music & Dramatic Art) qualifications, which strengthen their presentation, acting and communication skills.

The Drama Programme at Dover Court is very strong. The students are curious and interested. They’re academically driven and have a lot of great ideas. Drama is one of the most important subjects for a contemporary student of anything… it's going to help them with their collaboration, communication, confidence, and the ability to think differently as the world’s challenges grow.
MOVEMENT & DANCE
OUR DANCE CURRICULUM
Students explore movement and dance through PE lessons, co-curricular activities and selected Juilliard resources. These experiences encourage creativity, self-expression and physical confidence while helping students develop coordination, balance and an appreciation of different dance styles and traditions.
Through Juilliard's Dancer's Toolbox resources, students are introduced to concepts such as posture, alignment, coordination and safe movement practices, supporting their overall wellbeing and confidence in movement.

OUTSTANDING RESULTS AND DESTINATIONS
For students with ambitions to pursue performing arts at the highest level, Dover Court's programme opens remarkable doors.
In 2025, three Dover Court students, Alicia, Amalya and Kayra, achieved the highest mark in Singapore for GCSE Drama. In 2023, Nuria Williams Requena achieved the highest mark in the world.

Highest Mark in Singapore for I/GCSE Drama
Amalya (Year 12) achieved the Highest Mark in Singapore for GCSE Drama. A confident and expressive performer, she has embraced every opportunity to grow both inside and outside the classroom – from studio plays to Juilliard workshops.

Having joined Dover Court in Year 3, Kayra has grown up in our community, becoming a confident, creative and highly motivated learner with a passion for acting, storytelling and literature.
