As we reach the end of Term 2, there is much to celebrate across the Primary School. It has been another busy and enriching term, with a wide range of learning experiences both in and beyond the classroom.

Term 2 may have been slightly shorter than Term 1, but it has certainly been just as busy and successful. Alongside our classroom learning, students have enjoyed a vibrant programme of activities, sports events and trips.

Dover Court International School proudly celebrates the opening of its new Sixth Form Centre alongside the Year 13 IBDP Visual Arts Exhibition, States of Flux. Featuring diverse student artwork and a purpose-built hub for wellbeing, independent learning, and university preparation, this milestone event highlights DCIS’s commitment to creativity, academic excellence, and future ready education. Years 7 and 8 students from Dover Court International School Singapore returned from the U13 FOBISIA Games 2026 with impressive results in athletics, swimming, football, and basketball. The three‑day event provided valuable opportunities for learning, teamwork, and sporting development for our young athletes.

At Dover Court International School (DCIS), creativity and confidence are at the heart of every learning journey. During Book Week 2026, Year 5 student Alex shared the inspiring story behind his first published book, Spy at the Airport. His experience, from early sketches to a completed book, highlights the imagination, resilience and ambition we nurture at DCIS. With the right level of challenge and personalised support, our students discover what they are capable of and feel empowered to bring their ideas to life.

Eight talented Years 5 and 6 students travelled to Shanghai to represent Dover Court International School at the FOBISIA Maths Competition 2026. Competing alongside more than 300 students from 36 schools across Asia, our students tackled complex problem-solving activities, construction engineering tasks, and fast-paced maths races – earning a bronze medal in the individual competition. Their teamwork, confidence and enthusiasm throughout the two day event reflect Dover Court’s commitment to academic excellence, resilience, and meaningful global learning opportunities.

The GCSE/IB Music Showcase 2026 highlighted the remarkable musicianship of our students, featuring accomplished performances across a wide range of styles and instruments. The event offered a clear glimpse into the vibrant and inspiring music community at Dover Court International School.

At Dover Court International School, students learn far beyond the classroom. Through our partnership with Special Olympics Singapore, they take part in inclusive sports, develop leadership skills, and engage in meaningful service learning experiences that strengthen confidence, empathy, and community spirit.
