At Dover Court International School, music is for all—whether you are a talented instrumentalist, an aspiring composer, or a student keen to explore something new. The music curriculum is designed to be inclusive and inspiring, offering students of all ages and abilities access to high-quality music-making through various opportunities. This spotlight on student musicians highlights the stories of Olympe, Max, and Seojung, who reflect on how their musical journeys have enriched their school experiences, fostered personal growth, and instilled lifelong skills that extend far beyond the classroom.

As educators, we are constantly striving to understand the evolving landscape of young people's lives—socially, emotionally, and digitally. The Netflix drama series ‘Adolescence’ offers a raw, compelling window into the real experiences, pressures, and complexities facing teenagers today, and it has exponentially increased media coverage around themes of misogyny, toxic influences and a mental health crisis among adolescent boys.

In the first term of the 2024-2025 academic year, 38 Year 12 students completed a four-hour neurodiversity training course and became ambassadors for inclusion at Dover Court. We spoke with two of these ambassadors, Jocelyn and Juliet, to learn about their experiences and plans for creating a more inclusive school environment.
