DCA organises disco with a professional DJ playing the students’ favourite songs
On Friday 31st March, the DCA organised a disco for the Secondary School. The Cooper Hall was transformed from our assembly hall to a dance floor with a professional DJ playing the students’ favourite songs.
The DCA organised drinks and snacks for the students and there was even a photo booth where students could disguise themselves in a variety of wigs, hats and masks! The event was a huge success and enabled the Secondary School to make a donation to one of our school charities: Riding for the Disabled. Here are some of the quotes from the students who attended the disco:
“I liked the smoke machine and the lights!”
George Kelly (7C)
“I really enjoyed it because it was fun and I got to spend time with my friends, and it was great exercise #DCIShealthweek ”
Millie Balzer (8D)
“People came looking at me, because of my glowing shirt!”
Arjan Bhasin (8I)
“The music was awesome because I got to dance with the girls in other forms!”
Mai Wilhelms (8I)

Our Year 7 students went on two amazing trips to Sibu Island, Malaysia, for their year group residential. Surrounded by the beauty of nature and immersed in a vibrant new culture, students had the chance to connect with their friends and make memories that will last forever.
