Dover Court International School is proud to announce its achievement of three prestigious awards at the HoneyKids Singapore Education Awards 2025:
These awards highlight our belief that inclusion is the foundation of excellence and reflect our commitment to creating a community where every student feels seen, supported, and inspired.
Christopher Short, Principal of Dover Court International School, said: “We are delighted to be recognised once again as winners of the HoneyKids Education Awards. These awards, presented by an organisation that supports parents in our home city of Singapore, hold special significance for us. Winning three awards is a powerful affirmation that we live our mission: inclusion is at the heart of everything we do, and we are a community of high-quality learners achieving outstanding academic and social outcomes.”

Diversity and Inclusive Community Award
For the fourth consecutive year, Dover Court has been recognised for its pioneering role in inclusive education in Singapore. With over 60 nationalities represented, our community celebrates diversity and ensures every student – regardless of ability or background – is supported. Inclusion is embedded in our curriculum, leadership, and staff development, fostering a culture of belonging.
David Burren, Deputy Head – Inclusion, said: “We are honoured to receive the Gold Award once again in recognition of our commitment to diversity and inclusion. At Dover Court, we believe that every student thrives in an environment where they feel seen, valued, and supported. This award reflects the dedication of our entire community to fostering a culture of belonging where everyone can flourish. Thank you to HoneyKids for celebrating the importance of inclusive education.”

The Curriculum Award (British)
The Curriculum Award (British) recognises our comprehensive curriculum based on the National Curriculum for England and carefully tailored for our diverse international student body.
Our three-year IGCSE programme enables students to develop strong subject knowledge and confidence, while our personalised academic routes – including GCSEs, BTECs, ASDAN, and the IBDP – offer flexibility. This inclusive approach ensures success for every learner, as reflected in excellent results in 2025: 95% of I/GCSE grades at A*–C, an average of 36 points in the IBDP, and a 100% BTEC pass rate.

From the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) to Sixth Form (Years 12-13), we foster curiosity, independence, and a passion for learning, ensuring students embody the best of British education while developing a global mindset.

School Where Everybody Knows Your Name
At Dover Court, we create a school culture where every child feels welcome, supported, and truly known. Our admissions process includes ‘Stay and Play’ sessions for EYFS and Year 1, allowing us to understand each child’s learning style before they start. During the “Tell Me About Your Child” meetings in Primary at the beginning of each academic year, teachers listen to parents about their children to build strong relationships from day one.

Throughout their journey, students experience a personalised approach that celebrates their individuality – through inclusive sports, music ensembles, and cultural events like Culture and Community Week. Weekly lunchtime music sessions in both Primary and Secondary create joyful spaces for connection. This commitment ensures every student feels they belong and leaves with confidence and a strong sense of belonging.

We’re proud to receive these awards and want to thank our incredible staff for their dedication and passion in providing an outstanding education for every student. We also appreciate the continued trust and support of our parents, whose partnership helps us continue to nurture a vibrant, inclusive community. As we celebrate this success, we remain committed to building on these achievements and continuing our journey of excellence together.
