Elizabeth graduated from the University of Roehampton, London with BA (Hons) in Primary Education, specialising in Physical Education.
After graduating, Elizabeth taught Year 1 for three years in Bristol, England. She then moved to Qatar, where she gained experience teaching both Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, working with Year 1 and Year 3 classes. During this time, she took on the role of KS1 Maths Lead, followed by the role of Primary PSHE Lead, focusing on student wellbeing across the school. This will be her second year teaching Year Two at Dover Court.
Elizabeth takes great pride in her teaching, creating a calm and welcoming environment where all children can thrive. Her positive and supportive classroom ethos fosters a sense of safety, encouraging children to express their ideas with confidence and curiosity. With children’s emotional well-being at the heart of her approach, she ensures every child feels values, supported and empowered to reach their full potential.
Elizabeth has led a variety of clubs and activities across both key stages, including handwriting, phonics, animated drawings, and gymnastics. A former gymnast herself, she led the gymnastics club at her previous school in Bristol, organising and leading sessions, as well as preparing and accompanying children to gymnastics competitions.
Throughout her teaching and gymnastics career, Elizabeth has travelled the world, enjoying the chance to explore and experience a variety of cultures. She loves spending time with her family back in Wales and enjoys being outdoors and exploring new places.
