Francesca graduated with a First-Class Honours in Primary Education, from Leeds Beckett University.
Following her graduation, Francesca spent three years teaching Key Stage 2 in the UK, before making the move into international teaching. Since then, Francesca has worked at Nord Anglia Schools in Shanghai and Budapest, where her passion for learning in the Early Years was fully realised.
Francesca prides herself on being an advocate for child-initiated, inquiry-based learning, as well as promoting risky play in outdoor learning environments and is looking forward to continuing this at Dover Court. As being inclusive and welcoming to all learners is at the heart of her teaching, Francesca continues to develop her understanding of trauma-informed and Anti-Bias, Anti-Racist practice, to ensure that all children and their families feel a part of the school community.
Being born and raised in Liverpool, Francesca is a proud Chinese Scouser, who supports Liverpool Football Club. In her spare time, Francesca enjoys challenging herself to learn new skills, such as archery, ceramics and rock climbing, and relishes slowing down and relaxing in nature. With her family hailing from Hong Kong, Francesca is excited to be living in Asia, once again, and continuing to discover the vibrant culture and local delicacies Singapore has to offer.
