After graduating from the University of Central Florida, USA, with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education, Kristina began her teaching career in the United States. She is a PYP-certified teacher and has over 15 years of experience working with children aged 4–11 across the United States, England, Hong Kong and Shanghai. During her career, she has taught across a range of primary year groups and held leadership roles including Maths Leader.
Having worked in international schools across four countries, Kristina has developed a passion for creating inclusive and engaging learning environments where every child feels valued and supported. She has extensive experience working with learners from diverse backgrounds, including children with SEN and EAL needs, and believes in building strong relationships with pupils and families to help every child thrive. As an educator, she enjoys creating inquiry-based learning experiences that spark curiosity, encourage independence and develop confidence.
Originally from the United States, Kristina and her family spent the past ten years living and teaching in England before relocating to Singapore. Since moving to Singapore, she has enjoyed working as a supply teacher at Dover Court and is thrilled to now be joining the Year 2 team. In her spare time, she enjoys travelling, reading, swimming, running, cycling and cooking for family and friends. She loves exploring new places, learning about different cultures and spending time outdoors with her family.
Kristina is looking forward to getting to know the children and working in partnership with families to ensure a happy, successful and rewarding year of learning.
