Meredith graduated from Lafayette College (USA) with a BA in Psychology. She then attended The American University, earning her Master of Arts in Special Education: Learning Disabilities. Additionally, she holds a Professional Concentration in Autism Spectrum Disorders from the University of California (Davis). She is qualified to conduct Pearson Assessments Level B (USA) and has completed Orton-Gillingham training. Most recently, she earned a Professional Graduate Certificate in University Counselling from UCLA, where she developed a keen interest in supporting neurodivergent students through the university admissions process.
Meredith has extensive experience working at international schools in the United States, China, Vietnam, and Singapore. She has held the roles of SEN teacher, Primary SENCo, and Whole School SENCo, where she successfully collaborated with teachers and parents to ensure high-quality support for neurodivergent students and those with additional learning needs. In her spare time, she assists internationally mobile families in finding appropriate schools for their neurodivergent children or those with SEN.
She is passionate about her chosen field. Her philosophy that every child can learn with appropriate instruction drives her to continuously develop her practice and stay abreast of the latest research on neurodiversity, learning differences, and inclusive instructional approaches.
As a former university athlete, Meredith enjoys passing on her love of sport to students. She has coached field hockey, track and field, and has also supported school productions. In her free time, Meredith enjoys travelling, reading crime novels, exploring new foods, and spending time with her husband and three children.
