After growing up in Brussels, Rebecca attended the University of Edinburgh and graduated with a Masters (Hons) in Philosophy and Mathematics. Following university, her first career was in television production in Bristol, where she worked on multiple BBC series and programmes.

After getting married, Rebecca and her husband then lived in Shanghai and Hong Kong and this is where she completed her PGCE in Primary Education through the University of Sunderland. She began her education career teaching PYP at an international school in Hong Kong before moving back to the UK.

For the past four years, Rebecca has taught Year 3 at an independent school in Lancashire, UK. She is passionate about student wellbeing and has acted as Pastoral Lead for three years. She loves running the School Council, with a big focus on student leadership and pupil voice. She takes great pride in building strong relationships with the pupils in her care and loves to plan lessons filled with creativity and challenge. She has also led multiple extra curricular activities including cookery and drawing clubs, as well as overseen many school events such as Ocean Day and Feel Good Friday.

Rebecca is excited to move to Singapore with her husband and cat, and thrilled to be joining the Dover Court community.
